The archive of the Official Gazette of the Philippines has been made digitally available through another avenue, through a partnership with archive.org—augmenting the preserved and digitized Philippine historical materials already available online. The use of an an open-source platform enables researchers, historians, scholars and the general public to use a variety of resources, all for free. These resources are shared with the public at minimal cost to the government.
archive.org is a nonprofit organization founded to build Internet libraries around the world, such as Project Gutenberg and Open Library, to preserve and provide access to a wide array of materials such as texts, audio files, and videos.
