(Note: Taken from the UPLSAA Yahoogroups, email sent by Ronald Jess Cabunagan dated 17 May 2007)

The Educational Media Center of the Ateneo de Manila High School is organizing a seminar-workshop on the theme "Emerging Issues and Key Trends in School Libraries/Media Centers, part II", as part of its continuing education program. This will be held on June 1-2, 2007 at the Instructional Technology Center, Ateneo de Manila High School, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.

The seminar aims to help media center coordinators, school librarians and AV personnel keep abreast with new trends in the field of media librarianship, particularly on Web designing, video production and editing, as well as on the latest technology of book care/repair. It is also designed as a venue where emerging issues and concerns in the profession as well as in the work place will be discussed. For this particular series, the issue on continuing professional education as a requirement for the renewal of license by the Professional Regulatory Commission is the prevailing topic of importance.

The registration fee is P 1,500.00 which covers seminar meals, kits, handouts, and certificate. For the workshop, the venue can only accommodate a maximum of 40 participants, thus an early confirmation to this invitation will ensure your participation.
