The Agricultural Librarians Association of the Philippines, Inc (ALAP) holds a Forum today, June 6, 2008, at the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) Library, UP Los Baños, Laguna. The theme of the Forum and General Assembly is "Open Resources for Librarians in the Digital Age" . A registration fee of Php200 (to cover snacks, lunch, handouts and certificates) will be collected upon start of the program at 8:45am.
Invited speakers are Mr. Chito N. Angeles to talk about "Open Resources for Libraries in the Digital Age", Ms. Kristine E. Mandigma who will share about "WikiPilipinas: Philippine Encyclopedia" and Ms. Susima L. Gonzales on PLAI Updates.
