LLE Survey

Dear all,

The Board for Librarians have been receiving a lot of requests from non-BLIS graduates for them to be allowed to take the Librarians' Licensure Exam (LLE). As you perhaps know, RA 9246 states that only BLIS and MLIS degree holders are qualified to take the LLE, except for repeaters. In view of these, we would like to know how librarians feel about this restriction. Kindly participate in the survey that we are conducting at this link The survey consists of only a few questions. It won't take 3 minutes to finish this.

Your response will be highly appreciated. The survey results will help us pursue the right course of action to take in the future.

Sincerely yours,

Mila M. Ramos
Member, Board for Librarians

Source: email posted earlier in the paarlyahoogroups and subsequent email requesting various library association to disseminate to members.

Let us participate in the survey and let the majority opinion prevails, and serves as guide for concrete course of action by the members of BFL. Survey is until August 15, 2011. Thanks.
