Libraries & Information Centers: Improvements and Innovations

The Cavite Librarians Association, Inc. (CLASS, Inc.), is pleased to announce its National Conference with the theme “Libraries & Information Centers: Improvements and Innovations” to be held at the El Cielito Hotel, Tagaytay City on October 12-14, 2011.

The conference will gain strategies in managing customer relationship and interactions with our clients; provide participants with many opportunities to learn about technology being used in libraries today; learn more about the Resource Description & Access (RDA), the new standard in cataloging; envision libraries in the future; and discover strategies and techniques in preparing a Library Development Plan.

A registration fee will be collected for the following:
a. Live-in participants: PhP 4,200 inclusive of overnight accommodation with breakfast/dinner in addition to meals and snacks, seminar kits, handouts, cultural tour and certificates.
b. Live-out participants: PhP 3,800 to include lunches/snacks, seminar kits, handouts, cultural tour and certificates.
c. Accompanying persons: PhP 3,500 to cover the cost of accommodation with meals & snacks & cultural tour.
