Mas magiging maganda yata para sa image ng PLAI at sa ating profession if meron tayong "visible participation" sa paghahanda ng mga public school "libraries" as part of our community outreach program/projects in this highly visible program of DepEd. Instead sana icon ng computer, library ang mailagay or isama sa areas na puede mag volunteer. Any of the 16 PLAI Regional Council can take the initiative and explore possible areas of cooperation and volunteerism within your local public school or community (or even on a individual capacity). Initially, we could offer our technical assistance sa mga "accidental librarian" na-assign to manage public school library or whatever is that area they refer to as "library" ....
