Call for Papers: 2016 PAARL Research Journal

The Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 2016 issue of the PAARL Research Journal, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes scholarly articles and other materials on the different aspects of the history, theory, and practice of library and information science in the Philippines.

We hope you'll consider submitting your thesis, dissertation, or research project by 31 May 2016 for publication in the PAARL Research Journal. After undergoing the peer review process, which can only help strengthen your manuscript, the top three will be asked to present their findings at a forum on 18 November 2016. The Best Research Paper will win P10,000, and the runners-up will win P5,000 each. All will be published in the next issue of PRJ.

Thanks to Ricky Punzalan and Nora Agustero for agreeing to join me on PAARL's Research Committee, and to Fe Angela Verzosa, for continuing as Editor of the PAARL Research Journal.
