40th GAB Memorial Lecture Series

We would like to invite all librarians and information professionals to the 40th Gabriel A. Bernardo Memorial Lecture Series on 27 March 2019 at the UP Main Library Lobby from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. This year, Ms. Emma Rey, PLAI President, will discuss the future direction and opportunities of the profession.

PLAI Advisory no. 1 s.2017

The PLAI-National Board of Trustees (NBOT) during the 2nd quarterly meeting last 18 March 2017, formally accepted the resignation of Ma'am Susan Pador as PLAI National treasurer due to health reason and subsequently by unanimous vote approved the nomination of Ma'am Emma Rey (NCRLC Vice-President) as the new National Treasurer.

Likewise, accepted the verbal resignation of Ma. Lorna A. Eguia (CeVRLC) aired during said meeting due to her inability to duly perform the responsibilities of the position because of her previous professional commitment of equal importance as being a PRO. The Board then unanimously approved the nomination and election of Christian Acevedo as the new PRO (WVRLC).
