The Quezon City Library Consortium will be holding a seminar on “Expanding Library’s Visibility through E-resources Accessibility” on October 2, 2015, 8:00am – 5:00pm at AVR, FEU Diliman FERN College, Sampaguita Ave., Mapayapa Village III, Diliman, Quezon City.
Today, the availability of electronic resources has become one of viable services in many libraries. With useful and remotely accessible electronic resources, the library can increase visibility to the academic community that it serves.
The seminar aims to (1) understand the concept of building a sustainable electronic collection; (2) provide best practices in managing, promoting or marketing electronic resources for digital users; and (3) assess the usability of electronic resources in terms of relevance and reliability.
Registration starts at 8:00am. The seminar fee is Php500 inclusive of certificate, light snacks and lunch.
