5th Marina G. Dayrit Lecture Series 2015

October 16, 2015

Dear Colleague(s),

Warm greetings!

In celebration of the Library and Information Services Month, the Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) is pleased to invite you to its 5th Marina G. Dayrit Lecture Series 2015 on Librarians as Researchers with the theme Recognizing Best Researches: A Colloquium on Philippine Libraries and Librarianship to be held at Career Center Training Rooms 1 & 2, 2nd Floor, Bldg.1 of Technological Institute of the Philippines, Cubao, Quezon City on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Filipino librarians have remarkably crossed the border drawn between being custodians of knowledge into becoming generators of knowledge. From service to service and research, librarians of today are gradually realizing their significant role in the knowledge society by conducting research and disseminating results to benefit the profession at large.

The concluding activity in our MGDLS 2015 lecture series, named in honor of our founding president, Ms. Marina G. Dayrit, is a colloquium highlighting researches of the three finalists in the PAARL Best Research Awards. These researches will also be published in the PAARL Research Journal. Authors of said papers shall present their research results, which aims to further usher in learning outcomes and practical applications where forum participants could benchmark from.

Registration is FREE and limited slots are available. For online registration, please fill out the web form at http://gg.gg/PAARLresearch and for inquiries, please email the undersigned at maesteban22@gmail.

Thank you and we look forward to your usual support.

Sincerely yours,
