Information Literacy: the 21st Century Skills by CMNera



Prof. Corazon M. Nera served as speaker during the PLAI-STRLC Regional Conference on Promoting Information Literacy for Lifelong Learning last September 25-26, 2006 at the Capuchin Retreat Center, Barangay San Sebastian, Lipa City, Batangas and talked about Information Literacy: the 21st Century Skills.

  • Historical background of Information Literacy
  • Nature and Limitations of Library/bibliographic instructions
  • Importance of Information Literacy
  • Who are responsible for Information Literacy
  • Examples of Information Literacy activites (Philippines and Australia)
  • Standards and Requirement for Information Literacy
