Information Literacy: Identify Your Sources

We have been looking forward for quite sometime now to post an article about a video posted in youtube but the opportunity never come until today. There is this interesting and educational video posted by Otis College that we could use in library orientation of our students regarding the differences of serial publications like Scholarly/Academic, Professional, Popular, and Substantive news publication.

In this video, an art history professor explain in detail their differences and discusses some of the criteria students must learn on how to evaluate articles for their research papers. This is another addition to the materials and collection about information literacy initiatives. (RBManlangit and AAnday)
