CPD Consultative Forum @ Letran-Calamba

GREETINGS!

The Association of Librarians in Laguna Province, Inc. (ALLPI) in coordination with Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba and PLAI-Southern Tagalog Region Librarians Council (PLAI-STRLC) will host the next consultative forum on “Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Librarians” to be held on Nov 18, 2015 at Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba, City of Calamba, Laguna from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm. 

This consultative forum aims to update librarians of the plans and activities of the PRC-BFL-Continuing Professional Development Council and the status of the CPD bills and proposed implementing guidelines. 

Target participants are librarians from the public and private schools/institutions in Region IV particularly from Laguna province. A minimal registration fee of PhP 150.00 will be collected for the snacks, handouts and certificates expenses.

Consultative Forum on CPD

Warm greetings from the Association!

The Cavite Librarians Association, (CLASS) Inc. in coordination with Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo and PLAI—Southern Tagalog Region Librarians Council (PLAI-STRLC) will hold a free forum on “Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Consultative Forum for Librarians” which will be held on October 16, 2015 at De La Salle University—DasmariƱas, Cavite from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

This forum aims to update professional librarians about the status of the continuing professional development plans and activities of the Professional Regulation Commission—Board for Filipino Librarians—Continuing Professional Development (PRC-BFL-CPD) Council.

Target participants are Professional Librarians from the private and public schools/institutions in Region IV-A particularly in Cavite province. Since this is a free of charge, the participants are advice to bring their own snacks. A certificate of participation and a certificate of appearance for public/government employees will be given to the attendees.

Digital Library Initiatives : Its Impact and Challenges

The Philippine Librarians Association Inc. - Southern Tagalog Region Librarians Council (PLAI-STRLC) in cooperation with the 14th Philippine Academic Book Fair of the Academic Booksellers Association of the Philippines (ABAP) cordially invites you to a Forum on “Digital Library Initiatives : its Impact and Challenges” on July 8, 2010 (Thursday) from 10 am – 1 pm at Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.

The forum aims to provide an introduction about digital libraries and present the current issues, impacts and challenges of digital library initiatives in the country today. The target participants of this forum are librarians, library staff, informationprofessionals, teacher-librarians and students of LIS.

The forum fee is Php 300.00 and a special rate of PhP 150.00 for LIS undergraduate students. Please present school ID at the registration desk. Forum fee is inclusive of STRLC kit, food and certificate. Registration starts at 9:30 am.
