ALAP 46th Founding Anniversary Forum

Happening now: ALAP forum on Data Privacy @ UPOU

Attended the ALAP forum on Data Privacy @ UPOU Los Banos today and learned from the remarks of the representative of the UPOU Administration that ongoing in the campus is the building of an international convention center with housing facilities. It is expected to be completed by 2019 or early of 2020. I still need to verify the seating capacity of this new convention center in our locality or region. Suffice to say for now that for STRLC future events, we have a new possible venue ... as to hosting future PLAI Congress, we need additional info as to seating and accommodation facilities of the new convention center.

ALAP Forum and General Assembly

Greetings from the Agricultural Librarians Association of the Philippines (ALAP), an organization of librarians and information professionals from private and government agencies, agricultural colleges and universities and other institutions conducting research in agriculture, natural resources and allied fields.

ALAP, in partnership with the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) will be holding a forum on “Quality Management System and ISO in Libraries”on 05 June 2015, 8:30AM to 12:00NN, at UPOU CCDL Auditorium, UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna.The ALAP General Assembly will alsobe held in the afternoon at 1:00 to 5:00PM. These events will highlight the celebration of the 43rd founding anniversary of the association.

In connection with this, we are inviting you to attend the said forum / General Assembly and celebrate with us on this memorable day.The forum fee will be Php500.00 inclusive of AM and PM snacks, lunchand kits. Attached is the registration form and program for the said events.
