We reckoned that a separate compiled posting of scheduled activities during 29^th Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) as they are announce by various organizer/association is necessary for the general information of our colleagues as early as now so that they could make the necessary reservation/travel request, etc. It will also serve as a posting supplement to the Librarian Events for September 2008 we have been meticulously compiling.

"W.A.V.E." in the Library Workplace

The Librarians Association of Batangas (LAB) has organized a Forum and 2nd General Assembly entitled "Work, Attitudes, Values and Effectiveness (W.A.V.E.) in the Library Workplace" set on April 18, 2008 from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. at De La Salle Lipa, Lipa City, Batangas. The guest speaker will be Mr. Arnold Capuloy, Director for Linkages and International Relations of De La Salle Lipa.

Registration will start at 7:00a.m. A forum fee of Php300.00 will be collected to cover snacks, lunch, kit and certificate.
